Discovered that currently streaming on Tubi is Queers, a BBC special with a host of actors monologuing about queer experiences throughout many decades of British history. Obviously I’m partial to the one with Ben Whishaw as a WWI soldier speaking about repressed gay yearning.
Andrew Scott playing a Welsh gay guy in the 1980s in the all-star cast of Pride (2014, Matthew Warchus), a feel-good LGBTQ+ solidarity film that feels good #pridemonth#minersstrike#thatcher
My #cannes2024 review for 'Flow' animation feature by Gints Zilbalodis, a gleaming cat-astrophe in the Un Certain Regard section https://t.co/YKdyeCP1w5
Liked this first, LGBTQ+ driven, and empathetic feature by Antoine Chevrollier, premiering at #cannes2024#Semainedelacritique. Some well-rounded characters
