Just think about this.

In the past seven days, Russia has killed at least 93 people across Ukraine. Some died instantly. Others died from the injuries they suffered. In a single moment, families, friends, and neighbours lost the people they loved.

Over 500 people were injured by Russian missiles and drones. Many had to be rescued from the rubble. For many, these injuries will affect the rest of their lives.

All of this happened for one reason: Russia deliberately chooses missile and drone terror against civilians. This is a systematic tactic that Russia executes every day, striking Ukrainian cities and villages.

Every air defence system saves lives. Every anti-ballistic capability delivered by Ukraine's partners means more families will be spared this grief.

This is not history. This is Ukraine today.

After last night's Russian attack on Kyiv, I extend my deepest condolences to every family that has lost a loved one. Among the victims was this family, whose lives ended together.

This photograph is more than a record of a crime. It is evidence of what Russia continues to bring to our land and our people.

Цей документ є свідченням нашої державної зрілості.

Переконаний, що український парламент розуміє важливість такої ініціативи та якнайшвидше розгляне та ухвалить цей законопроєкт.

The United States has reached out to us regarding their bases in Middle Eastern countries. We’ve also been approached by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait.

We’re already working with some of them, and our expert teams are already on the ground, assessing the situation and sharing invaluable experience. Because no matter how many Patriots, THAADs, or other air defense systems are in the Middle East, that alone is not enough for fully effective air defense. There are modern interceptors designed to counter heavy drone strikes.

Now, we are discussing future deliveries of certain equipment that Ukraine has. We want Middle Eastern countries to give us the opportunity to strengthen ourselves as well. They have some air defense missiles that we lack. We would like to reach agreements on this.

Funding is the scarcest resource today. Our defense industry is currently operating at half capacity, and we need more financing to produce drones for ourselves. That’s why we are ready to sell to our partners the systems we have in surplus. And we’re not just selling – we’ll provide our expertise as well. Interceptor drones don’t work without our expertise. It’s the system that works.

The attack on March 24 heavily relied on Iranian-designed Shahed drones, now mass-produced by Russia. It was the largest daytime aerial assault of the full-scale war, with nearly 1,000 drones and missiles. Ukraine’s air defense shot down over 94% of incoming targets.

In response to this evolving threat, Ukraine has built a unique, battlefield-tested layered air defense, combining Air Force, interceptor drones, mobile units, and aviation.
