Let us praise our heavenly Father today, because even in the middle of everything going on, Jesus gave us a way to find the most glorious ending. This story has already been written and the end is good because our God is good!

God has such good things in store for us, the best of all is the gift that we have already been given, forgiveness through Jesus! Rise up today and shine, you are loved, you are cherished, you are wanted and you are forgiven!

God is moving in astounding ways. We may not be in a position to see it, but it is possible to feel it. Through all of the mess, all of the confusion, all of the fear and all of the sadness that we are experiencing at this time we can rest in the knowing that God is making a way.

God was speaking to the Israelites here in Isaiah when He said "I am with you" and "I am your God" and in His unchanging ways, our Father is always reminding us that He is with us, that He will strengthen us and we do not need to fear or be dismayed.

What our heavenly Father truly wants is a relationship with us. He wants us open, and vulnerable, and thankful. He wants us to come to Him, to enter into His presence with thanksgiving. We serve because when we are filled with gratitude how can we do any less?

As we settle into our new normal and the days run into each other, we need to listen for the voice of the Lord. We need to learn to rest in discomfort, to take a moment and search for that voice the we know so well. What is that gentle whisper saying to you this Easter weekend?

Through Jesus, God is our Saviour. Through the Holy Spirit, He is our constant companion and through God we have a loving Father. Let's talk to Him, let's let Him comfort us and be there for us. We are loved, we are wanted, we are children of the living God.
