For me, I serve a Master, and I intend to faithfully follow and execute what He has me doing, in my own life, with my family, and with the lives he has entrusted me to be a voice to.
Being successful in life. Choose your goals carefully. Two things: A deep inner life with God and know how to walk with him and build family in such a way that your home life and raising of children becomes an example for others for several generations.
Many virtues can open doors for you. Faith can open some doors. Generosity will be reciprocated and can open others. But never forget that more doors will open through character and reputation. Steward that well and you'll find the future opening up.
As a society, what tomorrow will look like depends on us. We are the ones laying the foundation for the future, and the next generation will largely take their cues from the example we set before them.
Let's all choose to be builders and not just consumers.
Our focus should be on God's kingdom and the expansion of it, above our own needs. Matthew 6:33, "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
I'm not afraid of darkness. I have the power of Christ in me! I go into dark places and bring the light of Christ. We are called to be the light of the world, not to shy away from dark places but to bring the light.
