@BuildStuffConf is giving away 70 online & 30 onsite tickets (in Vilnius) to people from underrepresented groups in the technology. You can apply for the ticket until the November 12th https://t.co/SIc8yWi2zA
Spread the word to people who might benefit from this opportunity!
We respect and understand the current situation in the world and we are with all who got contaminated or lost their relatives or friends due to the coronavirus. So we won't organize any meetups in March and April and will keep you informed regarding the meetup in May.
Today is a wonderful day - March 8th. We won't give you tulips or roses, but let's remember all the benefits we have today because of extraordinary women who fought for our rights and now we have freedom to choose our path. Be happy, be confident, be yourself! Happy Women's Day!
Today is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. We want to congratulate all our collegues in science and wish them confidence and courage in reaching their professional goals!
Hey all! We are already looking forward to the Thursday talk and workshop! We have such a wonderful speaker who we are absolutely eager to meet. So come and enjoy a talk of an extraordinary person.

Quantum programming is math-heavy. You need to understand what's vector, matrix, multiplication of those, some trigonometry, like what is sine, cosine, what how they are geometrically represented, coordinate system. You will see A LOT of formulas.
@QLatviaSoftware
This weekend was legendary! The longest VGC workshop & the first Quantum Computing workshop in Lithuania took place! Thanks to @QLatviaSoftware and Tesonet who made the event possible. Read what we've discovered here: https://t.co/pVzKK68OeA
One of application fields is chemistry. We can use a quantum computer with 286 qubits to simulate 286 quantum particles - to simulate quantum properties of Penicillin.
To simulate it on a classical computer, we need more bits, than there are particles in the visible Universe 😱
Deep Universe has temperature of ~ -271C
Some quantum computers need temperature which is 100 times colder than that to work!
The quantum computer cooling system might be the coldest place in the Universe achieved by people!
@QLatviaSoftware has more interesting info for you✌️☺️
A new QWomen workshop will be in Vilnius on this weekend! Thanks a lot to our QHost @AlinaWhoCodes and @vlngirlscode to make the first quantum programming workshop in @Lithuania happen ;-)

Stay tuned with QWorlds ;-)
Goodness gracious, is it December already??? Gifts should be packed, relatives should be called, friends should be seen! And... just a bit of attention for the VGC Christmas Party. :) As usual, lots of positive emotions, Christmas challenges and... you as our dear participant. :)
