No. Kirk was not a racist. I didn’t know much about him other than clips I saw of him and Candace Owens in 2017. Then I started seeing short clips of him that sounded racist as framed. But knowing what I know about how things get manipulated, I didn’t jump on the ‘Kirk is a racist’ train. After he was shot, I focused on his most controversial sound bites, and went back and watched the whole talk. When you heard the entire context, he wasn’t not being racist at all. He was just telling uncomfortable truths many didn’t want to hear. Those pushing racial division to gain power, saw him as a threat and smeared the man. He was not doing it out of hate. But he saw the damage disinformation was having on our country and decided to step up and challenge it. Kirk was a hero.
