The cost of switching once you are in the apple ecosystem is high. Apple hardware and vertical integration is something you don’t compete with just with SW.

Probably many people will switch, but certainly not everybody.

@DerekUrizar Proba usar Cursor. Es un harness igual de bueno que Codex y podes usar modelos de varios labs.

@Teknium I'm a firmware engineer. I work on RTOS and kernel development for secure SoC systems. The capability I see on Hermes after using it for a while is very similar to the kernels I work with. Same ideas.

@rezoundous @emmanuelekopimo Try cursor. I'm a Codex fan, but Cursor is on par with Codex, and you can use Claude and non OpenAI models.

@DanielSmidstrup That's for coding specifically, but nothing beats @Teknium Hermes Agent it's by far the best orchestrator and general purpose agent.

@DanielSmidstrup Codex in general, but I'm more and more leaning towards Cursor. Their harness and UI it's very good.
