@SoveyX Politics happen at all levels: most basic in a personal or family relationship. Easiest to see is in small children who do things like cry or throw a tantrum to influence their parents. But even husbands and wives use politics on each other. Just more revolting on world scale.

I'm with you Buzz, this incident alone doesn't necessarily capture the whole story. It's often easy to "Monday morning quarterback." Before an election, one mostly caters to their supporters and their party, but once in office they must represent all of the people. We all make mistakes and when we do we own it and change. If there are reasons for this incident, they should be explained. If it was a mistake, it should be owned. While this, on the surface, looks bad for Chad, I'm not a fan of Steve continuously attacking Chad on this one incident: it makes him look like another power seeking person who will do whatever it takes to win. I like and support the positive change postings and what the candidates will do to change California for the better and correct the path to destruction we've been on. Still on the fence between these candidates.

Adam, your point is a great one and we all need to take time to enjoy life, but there’s also the other side of the coin that the world we leave behind is partly our responsibility and the one our children and grandchildren have to live in. It isn’t bad to continue to fight for what is right. We need to find the right balance. You point is valid that many are out of balance. You seem to have found balance better than most.
