What is crucial today is unity between Europe and Ukraine, as well as unity between Europe, Ukraine, and the United States. I am grateful to the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany – @Keir_Starmer, @EmmanuelMacron, and @bundeskanzler – for organizing the meeting and for each of their personal contributions on the path toward achieving peace.

Today, we held a detailed discussion on our joint diplomatic work with the American side, aligned a shared position on the importance of security guarantees and reconstruction, and agreed on the next steps. We also held a separate discussion on further defense support for Ukraine. I am grateful to the leaders for their willingness to stand with our people and help us on the path toward bringing peace closer.

Ukrainian marines recaptured Ivanivka in a combined arms assault after Russian troops attempting to establish a bridgehead across the Vovcha River found themselves trapped in a kill zone.

The 37th Marine Brigade launched the operation under dense fog, which neutralized Russia's drone advantage. A Leopard 1A5 tank struck Russian positions from a concealed location while fiber-optic FPV drones hunted soldiers one by one. Marines then descended from high ground overlooking the village and cleared enemy dugouts in close-quarter combat.

53 Russian soldiers were killed. The remaining 19, recognizing that withdrawal across the river was impossible and no rescue was coming, surrendered.

Ukrainian forces advanced 1.5 km across a 5 km front, pushing the Russians back behind the Vovcha River. If Russia's command decides to assault this sector again, they will now face a reinforced Ukrainian defense holding the high ground - and have to cross the river a second time.
