It was an extremely difficult night with a yellow warning storm raging. We reached the GPO with sleeping bags, tents, hygiene packs, and 500 hot meals. We also gave out sandwiches, fruit, vegetables, crisps, protein bars, and hot drinks.
The queue stretched from the GPO to Henry Street in the lashing rain. People stood in the queues drenched and cold for some hot food.
We were heartbroken to see a person who had nothing but a worn-out tent. We quickly gathered essentials – socks, underwear, a jacket, and a new sleeping bag and tent.
A huge shoutout to our volunteers who braved the bad weather to serve others. Thank you also to all our restaurants who have donated and helped.
As the storm rages on tonight, please think of those less fortunate and donate to help their cause. Stay safe and have a lovely weekend.

Tonight we had 350 meals along with fruit, pastries, biscuits and more. People waited in line patiently and cordially. We took notice of the appreciation people showed us as we experienced so many beautiful interactions tonight. We feel extremely privileged to be able to help and build trust with so many people. After 7 years, we are pleased to see that we have earned the hearts of the public through our reliabilty and companionship.
Tonight we were approached by a young couple with a 10 month old baby. They had no where to live or stay and were told that if they went to the MSOE soup run, we would be able to help them. Therefore, one of the mangers at the soup run hastily made important calls to arrange a place for them to stay. However, when the manager called Dublin City Counsel, they replied that they had no record of the baby. Hence, the mother had to go down to the police station and present herself with her child. She recieved a document and only then was able to get the family accomodation.
As the couple were not married and had to be separated, we were able to provide a tent and sleeping bag to the young man to which he was very appreciative. It was a heartbreaking sight to witness but gladly the young lady, her baby, and her partner are all safe.
As we continue with our efforts, we hope for things to get easier as we patiently wait to see some light at the end of the tunnel. It is a huge privilege of ours to be down there and our only hope is that we are making some impact.
We are extremely thankful to everyone who continues to support us. We reached 750k hits and over 10,000 likes last week on our Twitter along with hundreds of supporting messages. We are extremely humbled and honoured to be receiving your help.
We would also like to give a huge shoutout to one of our volunteers Deborah. She's planning to visit Uganda for the summer and were wishing her a safe journey and lovely trip. We are looking forward to having her back in early October. Our doors and arms are always open for her.
We hope to continue to receive your support and donations. https://t.co/i5SxXXsC3j

I try to leave “troll views” alone but this right here is out of line af. Actually what is wrong w music is people choking the life out of music like an Instagram filter—-trying to reach a high of music perfection that doesn’t even serve the song (or music)
We went to the GPO today with 400 hot meals thinking we knew what to expect. We had 45 sleeping bags, hats, scarves, gloves, & thermal blankets, hoping that it would be enough. Yet amidst the freezing weathe, our hearts were again shattered at the sight of another long queue
Tonight was another difficult night. This week we received 3 calls from funded, government organisations asking if we can feed some people if they send them. People from 2 government funded organisations were there tonight for food for 4-5 days for people in hotel accommodation.
