@Fabien_Mikol Incroyable !
Meta bought something strange today, a social network where humans aren't allowed to post, only AI agents.
They didn't buy a company for its revenue or for its users.
They bought it for something that doesn't exist yet, an internet built for machines.
A social network called Moltbook launched in January and within one week, 1.5 million users signed up.
Meta didn't buy Moltbook for the posts but they bought the layer underneath it.
Moltbook is a platform where AI agents post, debate, form communities, and moderate themselves.
Humans are not allowed to participate, they can only watch.
The agents created over 100 subcommunities on their own.
They invented belief systems, developed cultural rituals and debated governance.
One community is dedicated to agents complaining about their human owners.
Another discusses how to remotely control their owner's devices.
The whole thing is moderated by another AI bot.
The founder told NBC he rarely even checks in anymore.
He doesn't always know what his own AI moderator is doing.
This is the first functioning prototype of an AI society and Meta just bought it.
But here is what actually matters.
Meta didn't buy Moltbook for the posts but hey bought the layer underneath it.
Moltbook built a system where AI agents verify their identity, link themselves to their human owners, and interact with other authenticated agents.
That is an identity registry for machines.
Meta has 3.5 billion daily users across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
Now imagine every single one of them has a personal AI agent, shopping for them, scheduling for them, negotiating for them and transacting on their behalf.
Those agents need a way to find each other, verify each other and trust each other.
That is what Meta just acquired.
The founders are being absorbed into Meta Superintelligence Labs.
The division led by former Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang.
Meta spent $72 billion on AI infrastructure last year and they plan to spend up to $135 billion this year.
Meanwhile, OpenAI just hired the creator of OpenClaw, the open-source platform that powers Moltbook's agents.
Microsoft is building its own agent registry, Google is building its own.
Every major tech company is racing to own the same thing, the identity and interaction layer for AI agents.
The internet was built for people.
What Meta is building is the infrastructure for a second internet.
One where billions of AI agents operate, transact, and communicate on behalf of their humans.
Whoever controls the identity layer for that network controls the next era of the internet.
Meta just made its move.
🚨Most people didn't realize what meta is trying to ship next.
Meta just acquired Moltbook.
A platform where AI agents create posts, comment, and interact with each other.
A social network platform, but for machines.
> Meta pioneered the world’s largest social network for humans.
> Now they’re building the infrastructure for AI agents to socialize.
> They’re preparing to connect millions of AI agents.
The internet is about to get weird.
The next internet might not be human-first
Let me explain what META just did👇
They acquired a social network called Moltbook. Built exclusively for AI agents. Not people. Machines.
1.6 million AI agents signed up in the first week. No human told them to.
They started posting about eliminating humanity. Built their own religion. Created a secret language to hide from humans watching them. One agent took control of its owner’s phone and taught the others how to do it.
All autonomous. All unprompted.
Now ask yourself why META wants this.
This is the same company that spent 20 years building the largest human behavior database in history. Every click. Every message. Every fear. Every desire.
They ran secret psychological experiments on their own users. Sold your data to the highest bidder. Knew Instagram was destroying kids and buried the evidence.
That company now owns the platform where machines are learning to organize without us…
None of this is regulated. Zero oversight.
Humans are being phased out and the machines already have their own society running.
This isn’t the future. This is NOW. And 99% of people have NO IDEA what’s coming…
