@trampas@ShannenPill I noticed this with my son from day 1. Every behavior is an attempt to communicate. He is his own person and he knows what his body needs.
@MorrisonBeth Nah this is disgusting behavior from the staff. I don’t care what the context is no child deserves to go hungry just because they couldn’t keep up with the demands of their caregivers
Being undiagnosed autistic is a lifetime of “what’s wrong with me? How do normal people do this task? Do I have Bipolar? Do I have BPD? Am I a narcissist? Do I have ADHD?
Nope! That was all just autistic masking to survive situations full of those personalities!
If I want platitudes and reassurance, the whole internet is full of beautiful people who can do nothing for you but give kind platitudes and reassurance. When I need a friend, I need someone ready to hear my wishes and take action to help me achieve them. All friends !==
Programmers help me, I am trying to learn JS:
. as in console.log();
The dot in between console and log as in console.log(); denotes that “log” is a program of the object; “console”(verification needed).
It works the same way in document.querySelector();
Accurate?
What comes after the “.” is an instruction to the object that is defined before the “.” —it tells the computer what to do within the scope of that object, and then adds specificity inside the parentheses.
Do people realise that autistic adults were once autistic children? That just because we’re alive and communicating doesn’t mean we didn’t develop completely differently to everyone else, haven’t been traumatised at every stage of life and not constantly managing burnout. 🤦🤷♀️
As I reflected on my pregnancy, I thought about how as human beings we have so many unmet needs due to isolation and the need to rely on paid services rather than our families and friends.
