When Palestinians hijacked Pam Am flight 73 (Neerja Bhanot fame), there were 379 passengers on board.

Palestinians hijacked the American plane to teach Christian Americans & Jewish Israelis a lesson. India was fully on Palestine side, didn't even have relations with Israel, so they had no issues with Hindus. Right?

Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

How Modi Govt saved us from the worst energy crisis of last 50 years

▪️Between Feb–July 2026, global crude jumped 70–80%.
▪️India’s Indian basket neared $135/barrel.
▪️We import ~88.5% of our requirements
▪️The Strait of Hormuz through which 60% of our LPG also moved came under direct pressure after the Iran conflict.

But even after that Indian pump prices rose only 7–8%.

That’s not luck. That’s policy + execution.

What Modi govt did

- Import basket widened to ~40 countries so no single chokepoint could choke supply
- Refineries ran hard; stocks were held
- Zero nationwide dry-outs
- Domestic LPG output ramped from ~32,000 TMT/day to nearly 52,000
- Central excise on petrol & diesel cut ₹10/litre
- OMCs absorbed ~₹21,300 Cr under-recovery in Feb–Mar alone
- Delhi petrol held at ₹94.77 vs a market-equivalent ~₹125

The quieter structural piece: one-fifth of every litre of petrol sold in India is ethanol, procured inside India at a fixed ~₹70/litre. That fifth does not move when Brent moves. The blending was built for energy security, farm income and emissions. Price protection in 2026 was the result, not the original promise. This year was its first real stress test.

Germany buys in the same global market. Prices there track Brent. Petrol hit a record ~€2.33/litre in September 2026 over ₹220. Same barrels. Different government choices.

We are lucky that there is Modi govt in power in this tough time. If Rahul Gandhi had been the PM, Petrol would have been at Rs 300/L today

HERE'S HOW THE ECI'S RESPONSE PUNCHES HOLES IN THE “VOTE CHORI” “IMPEACHMENT” ARGUMENT.
The Indian Express investigation raised questions. The ECI has answered several of them:
1. SIR WAS NOT A CEC SOLO PROJECT. The June 24, 2025 SIR order and subsequent schedules were approved UNANIMOUSLY by the full Commission.
2. FORM 6 WAS NOT ARBITRARILY REWRITTEN. The ECI says the SIR declaration attached to Form 6 has been upheld by the Supreme Court. Outside SIR, the statutory forms continue to apply.
3. THE 97 GOA CASE IS NOT 97 PERMANENTLY “STOLEN” VOTES. The ECI says BLOs have been sent to the affected voters; 81 of 97 have already filed Form 6. Those left out can also seek inclusion through continuous updation.
4. ECINET IS NOT BEING LEFT UNCHECKED. A committee headed by a senior DEC, with an independent IIT/IIIT expert, will review whether the system complies with electoral law.
5. THE DISPUTED IT ORDERS WERE NOT IMPLEMENTED. The ECI says the DEC's oversight of the IT division was never withdrawn.
6. THE PROCESS REMAINS OPEN. Help desks, special camps, house visits and online hearings are being provided, while voters left out can seek inclusion.

THE BIG QUESTION:
IS THE “VOTE CHORI” ALLEGATION WITHOUT BASIS?

THE ECI'S KEY REBUTTAL TO THE “DISSENT” AGAINST "DICTATORSHIP" NARRATIVE:
The EC says its SIR decisions were NOT unilateral. Look at the document below.
POINT 1: SIR order of June 24, 2025 for all States/UTs including Bihar, West Bengal and 30 others was approved UNANIMOUSLY.
POINT 2: The Supreme Court upheld the SIR order on May 27, 2026.
POINT 3: SIR schedules for 12 States/UTs and subsequently 19 States/UTs were also approved UNANIMOUSLY.
POINT 4: The letter to Cabinet Secretary by Election Commissioners was NOT related to any policy matter.
QUESTION:
Q1. If the Commission’s major SIR decisions were unanimous, how does internal disagreement over specific procedures establish “vote chori”
Q2. And given the information released here how can demands for the CEC’s impeachment be justified?
