It's high time we introduce ourselves to our 22 followers.
For those who have been following us, we thank you. We believe, like for us, Tamil cinema is our primary source of entertainment and it shapes our life, thought process and worldview for many of us.

And this unbelievable composition from Yuvan brings you to your feet, or tears.
Here’s a man feeling a sense of love for the first time. He’s afraid, obviously but slowly melts at the touch of love.
@Suriya_offl eyes spoke lines of poetry that no lyricist has yet to better.
In Nandha, Bala writes probably one of the most darkest yet moving climaxes of all time.
Nandha went to jail for his mother - the one soul he loved.
At the end, she kills him - he knows, and he literally loved her to death.
Dark, yet poetic.
It’s a crime we don’t get to see this @Suriya_offl anymore.
This film was peak Suriya, Bala and @thisisysr.
A character written as the ultimate collateral damage. None of the sins he commits are of his doing - and his final sacrifice comes as the ultimate closure to his mother.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate how good looking @ikamalhaasan is in this picture? It’s a crime that we did not allow this legend to grow beyond the Indian cinema.
To quote him (who initially said this about Shivaji Ganesan), “Singatheke thayir saatham potu valarthetum.”
Might not have enjoyed Bigil at the theatre, but watching it on @amazon Prime has definitely allowed me to respect @Atlee_dir’s work.
Here’s a shot of a newspaper clipping that says “India ranks 108th in WEF gender gap index” as Anita falls down from an acid attack.
Framing.
The way the characters are written with flaws is what makes the film real.
@AshokSelvan is real and makes real life mistakes which has real consequences.
When he explains how it hurt when he saw @ritika_offl getting engaged, and with @leon_james wielding his magic.
Staging.
Managed to catch #OHMYkadavule during this lockdown and what a very well made movie.
@AshokSelvan reminds you what adequate acting is all about. Zero fuss and yet he makes an impact with his subtlety.
@ritika_offl is absolutely stunning - needs to be in more films for sure.
#Mafia is easily one of the most stylised Tamil cinema in recent times. But what it lacks with story, it makes it up with some impeccable visuals that promises a brilliant future for @karthicknaren_M.
It’s quite rare that you still tend to stand behind a director even after he’s delivered a rather underwhelming film.
But that’s what sets Karthick Naren apart. The talent is there to be seen. His visual aesthetics is on full show.
The guy knows his craft.
Just needs a story.
On that note, directors take creative choices and sometimes it backfires.
We completely see the talent that is on show here. Karthick Naren does nothing to damage his burgeoning potential - and this might just be a small dent.
We’ll wait for more Karthick.
Arun Vijay and @Prasanna_actor continue to prove how Tamil cinema has not tapped into their fullest potential with some beautiful charm on screen. Although the dialogues could have been written better.
1. Vetrimaaran (pure raw emotions)
2. Pa. Ranjith rooted to his culture)
3. Myskhin (visual storyteller)
4. Thiagarajan Kumararaja (cinematic experience)
And I’m going to mention Karthik Naren - controversial I know, but that guy is special. Trust me. He’s got something.
About time our heroes unabashingly portray themselves as a character instead of an extension of their off screen persona.
That Jack Daniels bottle is a statement of intent from @Dir_Lokesh and @gopiprasannaa
