We Strongly Condemn the Demolition of the 125-year-old Historic Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sahib in Farukhabad, Pakistan.
We Sincerely thank the @MEAIndia & Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, for its swift intervention in taking up this matter with the Government of Pakistan.
We Demand :-
• Immediately halt any further demolition or damage to Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sahib.
• Restore and reconstruct the demolished portions of the historic Gurdwara at the earliest.
• Take strict action against those responsible and ensure accountability.
• Put in place effective safeguards to prevent the recurrence of such incidents involving the places of worship and heritage sites of minority communities.
The protection of religious freedom and shared heritage is a collective responsibility that must be upheld!!

ऊपर गले में फूलों की माला वाली फोटो मेरे स्वर्गीय दादा सरदार बख्शी इंद्रजीत सिंह जी की है, जब वह पंजाबी सूबा मोर्चा में दूसरे जत्थे की अगवाई करते हुए गिरफ्तार होने के बाद ढाई महीने तिहाड़ जेल से रिहा होकर आये थे तो समूह दिल्ली की सिख संगत ने उनका फूल मालाओं से स्वागत किया।
उस समय का मशहूर नारा था
"हथकड़ियां साढ़ा गहना है,
पंजाबी सूबा लेना है "
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੂਬੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਮੋਰਚਾ
ਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ । ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ
ਦਲ ਤਾਂ 12 ਜੂਨ 1960 ਈ. ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਰੋਸ
ਜਲੂਸ ਕੱਢਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਭਭਾਵ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ । ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਲੂਸ ਕੱਢਣ ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾ
ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਸਿੰਘਾ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਆਉਣ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸੀ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਲੀਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ । ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਲੋ਼ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਵਰਕਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਭੇਜਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖੋ ਵੱਖ ਰਾਜਾਂ
ਤੋ ਵੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਵਰਕਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪਹੁੰਚਣਗੇ । ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀਆਂ
ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੀਸ ਗੰਜ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈਆਂ । ਉਸ ਸਮੇ ਸਿੰਘਾ ਵਿੱਚ
ਪੂਰਾ ਜੋਸ ਸੀ। ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੀਸ ਗੰਜ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਆਸੇ
ਪਾਸੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦਾ ਠਾਠਾਂ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਇਕੱਠ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ
ਸੀ । ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਨੇਤਾਂ ਗੁ. ਸੀਸਗੰਜ ਸਾਹਿਬ
ਪਹੁੰਚ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ । ਸਿੰਘਾ ਨੇ ਚਾਰ ਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ । ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ
ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਤਸੱਦਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ,ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਪੱਗ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਇਆ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਤਸੱਦਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਇਸੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਪੱਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੌਲਵੀ ਵੀ ਤਸੱਦਦ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ । ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਸੱਦਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਸੱਦਦ ਦੌਰਾਨ 7 ਸਿੰਘ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪਾ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ 1200 ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ । ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤੀਆਂ ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ ।
When thousands Sikhs gathered in front of Gurdwara Sis Ganj demanded formation of Punjabi Subha (Present Punjab State on the basis of Punjabi speaking areas ). Then without any provocation and warning, horse rider Delhi Police personnel attacked on peaceful Sikhs, blindly lathi charged & teargassed wherein many Sikhs were killed and hundreds severly injured. Thousands Sikhs were lodged in newly constructed Tihar Jail for 2-3 months. TODAY on the occasion of 66th Anniversary, we must remember the sacrifice of Punjabi Subha Morcha agitators of DELHI.
