@phosphor_glow I feel like they only did it once as a Peter Lorre parody, and then it just became a Looney Tunes tradition, more about animators referencing fellow animators than about the subject himself.
@CepnikMaciej It’s common to mock somene saying “buenos días” when it’s past or almost noon as a sign of lazyness, in contexts where it looks like you’re just getting up while everyone else has been working all morning.
@Promiseishim All they had to do was either show him locking the kevlar behind his head, that alone would’ve at least made it defensible. Still lazy not to even show him being launched away by the impact. It feels like all they did was say, ‘Stand still, we’ll finish it in post.
