@pixelsanddice @DMC_Ryan Yeah i also dont think Day 1 on gamepass is really the problem. Either way they get money. Id say their problem is just their very mixed bag of releases. A good release every few months(or even longer) is just not good for retention.

@NinWire I will get the switch 2 version, but it being a Game-Key card does kill a bit of my hype for it. I would've loved it if 1.5+2.5, 2.8, and 3 were on 3 separate cartridges in the case.

Doesnt matter if its on steam, Playstation, Nintendo, or Xbox. You pretty much own nothing bought digitally. It can be taken at anytime for any reason and occasionally even by mistake.

Unfortunately for him a lot of the top contenders had allegations about minors at the time. So nintendo started cracking down on smash tournaments. Official or not.

@Blakecat97 @Drtre81 Holy shit so did I XD. Bought the remake and the remaster on PS5, then bought the remake on pc when it was on sale and got the remaster on pc thru a bundle of the entire series for like $30

@VToo53 @HondoJarrus @JuiceMan_V If i spend $30 for gamepass to play a brand new $70 game like Ninja Gaiden 4, I save $40 right then and there. If I decide I like it and want to buy it, I can wait however many years I want for it to go down to $30 or $20 and buy it then thus still saving money.

Cuz they could've easily and very cheaply just remastered 2 and 3 and released them a year apart so Metroid can maintain SOME kind of relevance. But nothing. Hell, even ports of Samus Returns and other M would've been better than the nothing we got.

@gtdak64 @Bruce000999 @AgentBoolen @videogamedeals Unfortunately, as tech gets more advanced, prices go up. We were gonna get to this point eventually, so now Sony and Xbox have 1 of 3 choices. Use better tech and price some people out of upgrading. Eat the cost and not go over $500. Or stick with what's out and go full 3rd party

@Bruce000999 @AgentBoolen @videogamedeals Tbf, the PS5 Pro is the most powerful console available, so you're getting what you paid for in terms of power. Imo the PS6 should be just like the PS5. Better tech, but not as powerful as the PS4 pro and should be between $600 and $650. But with tariffs, it'll be like $700+.

@Bruce000999 @AgentBoolen @videogamedeals So far Sony has only raised the prices of their cameras. I'd say it's either a matter of time or their focusing solely on PS6 production and have cut production/shipment of the 5's. PS6 bout to be mad expensive
