@darrellstetler2 How I wish every single one of your co-religionists had your perspective. Or that they would even listen to you. So many eyes and ears that claim to be "opened by truth" seem intransigently closed, and so many hearts that claim to be warm and soft seem permanently cold and hard.

This reply is a near perfect microcosm of so much that's wrong with Xianity as exemplified by so many professing Xians. Why would *anyone*, *anywhere* be inclined to want what this arrogant jerk has?

@BradleyJowe In this way, the CHM isn't all that different from other sects of fundamentalism, including, frankly, most of evangelical Xianity, which is driven by the same ethos. Is it any wonder that this cohort of people is so susceptible to being co-opted by authoritarianism?
