As Jews, it is a part of our religion, history, and heritage to defend safe and legal abortion access. I am committed to standing up for women’s reproductive rights and religious freedom. Together, we can create a more progressive and inclusive society. https://t.co/NGVLDYzwym
Regarding the nudity, Spiegelman explains it is a tiny image that depicted his mother being found dead in a bathtub. “You have to really want to get your sexual kicks by projecting on it,” he adds.
Today we honor and remember the 6 million Jews and millions of non-Jewish victims. However we must continue to honor them by listening to and telling their stories, protecting our fellow man, fighting antisemitism and injustice, and by teaching the tragic consequences of hate.

1 in 4 Holocaust Survivors in Israel live in poverty, and even more go unrecognized or have to jump through legal hoops, proving they lived in camps or ghettos, leaving out survivors who have different but equally traumatic experiences.
This is disgraceful.
On May 31, 1944 Marianne Cohn was arrested for attempting to smuggle 28 Jewish children out of France. She was taken to prison where she was tortured until she was killed on July 8, 1944.
She was 22.
Eve’s Hangout was closed following her arrest, but is now recognized as a historic monument, and she now has a street and a public school named after her in Paris

Wow, I was just informed that the #holocausteducation bill once again has been pulled & will not be put up for a vote until @PaulDBoyer gets his bill done in the house. To say I'm beyond upset & disgusted is an understatement. Very disappointed with the continued political games.
