@ozgurstein I thought these were pretty neat. Nameless king and his dragon were decent enough for the time. We may see something more down the road since more studios are coming with heat.

It would make sense that the time mechanic not be included in sequels since the point was giving players a sense of urgency to save their family. People could have not interacted with it at all and just played the game without trying to save them from what I’ve been seeing. Any future sense of urgency would only make sense if written in the story. Personally I didn’t mind it. Prioritizing what’s most effective for you and having time management skills while playing through the game felt good to me. This is my own perspective of course. As gamers I would say we’ve gotten used to things being handed to us in a sense and how they’ve always been. This put a bit of edge into and made it feel more worthwhile. Again, personally.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is already planned to have multiple sequels under the name "The Dawnwalker Saga", Here's everything Rebel Wolves has revealed about the future of the franchise:

- Each sequel will take place in different eras, locations, and cultures. Spanning multiple centuries.

- They will all star Coen of Laslea, he is the protagonist of this franchise. Because vampires age slowly, he will live through many time periods.

- Your save file will be carried across each game. So your choices in The Blood of Dawnwalker will be reflected multiple games in the future

- The games will span centuries, continents, and cultures across the globe

- Each installment in the series will be a standalone game with its own story, without narrative cliffhangers, unresolved plot threads, or time travel ideas. But there is an overarching plot to them.

- There are breadcrumbs in The Blood of Dawnwalker that hint towards the future of the franchise and its overall conflict

- Each game will bring in new characters and new stories for Coen to take part in

- A trailer shown at SGF revealed the ultimate destination of this franchise. I do not recommend watching it until you finish the game as in my opinion, it is spoiler-y and I do wish I hadn't seen it until after I finished the game but it does make me very excited to see how this will all lead there.

Overall, Dawnwalker Saga has MASSIVE potential. If each game builds on top of Blood of Dawnwalker, taking in feedback and going further with the choices system, it's going to be a fantastic franchise that I can see growing to be huge in the future. Also considering they are calling it "Dawnwalker Saga", it's likely these games will be titled "The X of Dawnwalker" so maybe the next one is "The Rise of Dawnwalker"?

Also, since the first game took place during the plague, I'd love if the sequel took place in Renissance Italy. As a massive fan of Ezio Auditore's AC games, I'd adore if they went Italy in the sequel!
