@DustinBrowder Trailers are meant to be curated slice of your game at its best. If this is that - no, I wouldn't try the demo.
By offering so many systems gameloop looks tedious and I can already feel each match outstaying its welcome. It reminds me of Highguard, a game I knew was DOA.
@edmundmcmillen I would like to see mutations effect how inbred a cat is (it is no longer the same as its siblings DNA wise) / high mutation able to mutate away lesser mutations/defects but also risk more defects.
Would give players a risky out for inbred cats without nullifying the system.
@edmundmcmillen To clarify - that means cats can no longer mutate out of disorders or mutate away things they already have in the house but all other effects that grant mutations (tainted genes, events) can still override both?
@JoshStrifeHayes The recent megafailures or sequels that did not do as well their priors were all left leaning, made worse for pushing such messaging (Dragon Age > Veilguard for example). I don't see much right wing message pushing in games or the desire for it, just the desire for a good game.
@edmundmcmillen In regards to tink - if Craft Weapon was a free action allowing it to use throw weapon in the same turn, it leans better into the thematics and gives an attack action each turn the player can rely on while making weapon dependant skills (catbot) FAR more useful.
@edmundmcmillen 1) Craft Weapon
2) Donate Blood
3) Math!
4) Catbot
5) Eureka!
Tink without tech is useless especially in lategame cat squads as the weapons created are low tier, don't scale with stats, random and worse than earlygame cat basics. Craft Weapon is in a tier of its own.
@SynthPotato Ability to lock items.
Ability to move bound equipment into storage so they don't clog the weapon wheel.
Items in hand (seeds/meat/etc) stay out until the stack is expired instead of needing to pull them out one by one
Read books/etc are marked as learnt in the world.
@SmashJT Every tax a studio, corporation or billionaire doesn't pay falls on the shoulders on everyone who does pay their taxes to make up the deficit.
Since most of these people failed biology, not surprised they fail at maths also.
@edmundmcmillen 1) An indicator for double click confirm that the tile has been clicked. 2) Full key rebinding so can have examine on different buttons for house/combat. 3) Family trees of cat parents updating with their children.
