hi ! I'm void and I make art sometimes ! twitter moments broke (rip) so here's a thread ↴

✧ ⋆ *⁖ ･ﾟ

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

...the other part are all the very noisy fascists including the guy who runs the place, all the dumb ads, the doomscrolling timesink that is twitter in general, etc. I'd encourage folks to leave as well, it's great :)
ok bye again ! :D

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

I don't use twitter anymore (I'm here on web ver rn cuz someone sent me a post and I saw this when I clicked the tl lmao) but when I did, I used to just block ANY ai gen / nft pfp I'd see. did that for bout a year ngl. (musk killed blolook or I'd share stats lol)

[化猫38_Illustrator@skeb募集中 @bakeneko_illust]

I'm sorry if this seems harsh, but
I block accounts with AI-generated images for their icons or headers.

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

part of the reason I'm no longer on twitter at all now is because hey, I don't wanna see that shit, and blocking doesn't work the same as it used to. it's not harsh. I'd argue it's healthy.

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@Wendigoon8 I'M SO IN LOVE WITH INVISIBLE BY DURAN DURAN BEING USED FOR THIS OH MY GOD
sorry I just
I love this song man
anyways, metal gear vid would go hard

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@pinksugarelijah you should get into hollow knight then I'd have TWO ppl I know yelling about it

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@BlushingBee_ @LostMediaBuster that sounds like the most outlandish superwholock-era pipedream i've ever heard.
also, considering supernatural was filmed in (predominantly) BC Canada, and Sherlock was filmed in the UK, unless it was fan made, I don't think that exists.
sorry

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@_youngqi @SuitU_Official I wonder how many bans without any individual warnings they plan to dish out instead of taking accountability for their actions.
I wish I knew, but unfortunately, I was banned without any individual warnings.

(and then they changed the rules after the fact)

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@starsap_xd @laughability2 HELL YEAH HELL YEAH!!!!! WOOO!!!!
LOUD CHEERING!
[ok now I leave twitter again lmao]

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

aAAAAHHH!!!!!! LET'S GO!!!!!! WOOOO!!!!

Since Studio Ghibli is trending, worth noting the mind-boggling effort Hayao Miyazaki and his team put into a film.

Each has 60k-70k frames, all hand-drawn and painted with water color.

This 4-second clip (“The Wind Rises”) took one animator 15 months to do.

In the documentary “10 Years with Hayao Miyazaki”, the legendary Japanese filmmaker talks to one of his animators (Eiji Yamamori) after they complete the crowd scene.

The exchange is gold:

▫️Miyazaki: “Good job.”
▫️Yamamori: “It’s so short, though”
▫️Miyazaki: “But it was worth it.”

The animator gets a second of joy (he’s pumped) but on to the next.

@JosephAllenPain @empyriangaming ai doesnt hold a brush, jackass.
nor do the idiots using it, that's kind of their whole thing, they're lifeless hacks who hate doing any sort of actual effort.

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@TCarrot_ yeah!!! that one was in the final movie tho, and I absolutely did go "omg just like radical highway" to myself lmao

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@geoffslaugh I mean I wanna keep mine as part of my kickass moonball collection but if I can get a decent chunk of rent money out of it... hm.. lmao

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@pinksugarelijah wow so glad you're learning the important stuff

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@FiSH80N3S @ojiromeow absolutely :)
ain't worth the time lol

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

...wait do people actually hate watch stuff?
why tho?
like... we only got so many hours in a day, hell, a buncha them I spend at work or asleep - who tf has time to hate watch anything?

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@starsap_xd good
sunshine is important, I'm outside rn in da sun, tis nice

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

outrage as people come to terms with just how much companies like this have been able to get away with for YEARS is important - it inspires others to fight for a fair future, where people aren't paying an arm and a leg in insurance only to never get the coverage they deserve

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

I'm really glad things like this are being talked about with a wider audience now. I don't think we can make changes on our own, but it's so crucial to get the word out about this injustice towards people on a scale that everyone regardless of background can see is a problem.

[Pop Crave @PopCrave]

UnitedHealth has been reported to overcharge some cancer patients for drugs by more than 1000%.

[void 🐠🌈 @voidmatic]

@lesbianekubo oop rip indeed
