Void v1.1.11 is out & fully open source!

Void is a full-stack SDK, CLI, and platform that unifies building & deploying apps.

◆ SDK: Zero-config SDK to build full-stack @vite_js apps
◆ Platform: A shared deployment platform for teams to host Void apps on @Cloudflare
◆ CLI: Provision resources and deploy Vite apps to Cloudflare or Void.

Build on Vite. Deploy on Void.

Introducing tsrs: a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler 🦀

We are not forking TypeScript!

◆ In close collaborating with the TypeScript team
◆ Up to 8x faster than TS 7.0 & ~70% less memory
◆ Runs in WASM, so it works in your browser & on Workers
◆ Soon part of the Oxc toolchain

@deploytovoid + @Cloudflare is magic

In 5 minutes, I got a D1-backed real-time todo list deployed to production, without leaving the terminal.

Great job @voidzerodev

Ever wondered how a hashed filename ends up in your built JS, especially when the hash can't be known until the file is written?

@sapphi_red (@vite_js core team) starts from exactly that, and ends on what changed in 8.3.

Only at @ViteConf which starts in just 1 hour 🎉

You can't stop maintainers getting phished. But what you can is stopping bad release reaching your lockfile, today!

Set a minimum publish age, approve install scripts per version, let pnpm reject trust downgrades.

Svelte components on mobile phones or in the terminal? Yes, now that @sveltejs has a custom renderer API!

v2 of @QwikDev spent two years in beta: new runtime, optimizer rewritten based on Oxc, build on Vite 8 and Rolldown.

One config file covers dev, build, test, lint, format and monorepo caching, for libraries and CLI tools as well as apps.

A lot of decent languages have it - so why not JS too?

Five teams in a single repo meaning a flaky test goes red and nobody ships.

Module Federation can help: each team builds and ships its own slice of the page, so a test fail blocks one team.

Could it be that every reason to reach for a SPA got fixed elsewhere since 2012?

* SSR for weight
* Routers for URLs
* Paint holding for the white flash

SPAs look a lot like the thing they tried to replaced.
Hear from Luca LaValva (Marko) if the distinction still makes sense.
