@PRCBC1 @ukhomeoffice @jameshickey77 Appreciate that, but let’s be practical. British citizen trying to enter the country a 2 am with a toddler who has the same surname and evidently born in the UK. Traveled with her before several times so if it were THAT ambiguous surely we would have come across it…

OMG. UK husband flew back home to UK yday w our 3 yr old UK/DE dual #citizenship daughter, at 2 am after ca 7 hour delay. Got stuck at immigration bc she doesn’t have #settledstatus. WTF?? She’s a UK citizen, w UK dad, her (German) passport clearly states UK birth place 😡🤯🤬

@MagyarGeologist @ukhomeoffice @jameshickey77 She was travelling on her German passport and didn’t have her UK birth certificate on her, but the German passport states her place of birth (UK) and she was with UK dad. Doesn’t take much knowledge about immigration to know she’s a citizen 🤦🏼‍♀️
