PK on the LNP’s push for Australians to have a right to be a bigot
“But that was ultimately dropped!”
Only bcoz after a long long fight in the Senate, LNP couldn’t get enough support & gave up, otherwise right now we would all have a legal right to be bigots. What Dutton wanted

In case you missed Trump's press conference, he essentially just blamed this tragic air crash on a mentally impaired ATC, diversity quotas, Obama and Pete Buttigieg. He then said dwarfs shouldn't be allowed to be air traffic controllers. He then says that it's likely the helicopter, which had a visual of the plane, was at fault all along. Blatant politicising with a few easily demonstrable lies just hours after a terrible tragedy.
I've almost missed him.

-Ashley Goss, a deputy secretary at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
@6NewsAU Rather odd for a Senator, who is among the top spenders on parliamentary expenses in relation to her current position, to be considered for this new role
Plenty of other Senators spend way less on expenses than Price, so she's not real efficient with taxpayer money IMHO

Not supporting PhD and other higher degree students with a stipend you can live on is a false economy. It’s even worse for those studying part-time (often women, often with dependents).
We must support students better. It’s in everyone’s best interest. https://t.co/cfKm9HKA0g
