I never understood store staff with this attitude and am still not entirely sure if it's deliberately done to get the person to buy a product, either way it works somehow as apparently some are so pathetic and insecure they'll still buy something to "prove" they meet the standard
A lot of americans have to cope by pretending this is true because they think they should be exempt from criticism because they're a minority within america.
I cannot comprehend why neurotypicals willingly prefer inefficiency and a lack of transparency especially when it also makes them miserable most of the time
It's crazy how much dating revolves around trying to filter out people with autism. "Oh I can't date a guy who has obsessive hobbies" "if you ask about this prompt you're weird"

there was a really weird period of about two or three years where I always got small cavities and thankfully it stopped but I don't even know what actually caused it since I don't think I've changed any habits
the only exposure to france I've had was at the airport in paris where staff were racist to me literally within the first few minutes and people wonder why I say I never want to visit that country lol
my mom only began to tell me stories of when my grandma was younger and growing up in poverty in pre cultural revolution china once I was a lot older and I immediately understood why she withheld because that shit was heavy and it still makes me sad whenever I think about it :(
@SankarasLawyer unironically I asked one of my chinese friends what his opinion on the cultural revolution was & he said his grandfather deserved to die
wear knee pads to volleyball practice and there's zero occasion where I need them for knee protection but the moment I forget them I end up with a bajillion instances where I need to dive for the ball
i had a feeling there was more than one instance where walter fumbles money because of his fragile ego and this just reminded me and pissed me off all over again 😭
The worst part is Skyler got the money for his cancer treatment in episode 1 but Walter turned it down and felt emasculated. It was never about the money and cancer that was the point of the show
my memory of the show may be blurry but if I was Skyler the meth cooking wouldn't even be what pissed me off the most, it would be that insane contract Walter could've had with Gus Fring but decided to throw it because of his ego 💀
