I often hear people say we need to look at evidence in an unbiased way. But no one is neutral. Everyone has a bias. Your bias comes from the the presuppositions (the foundation) one has for their worldview. A worldview is the way one looks at the world--it's like a pair of glasses we have on. Our worldview only has two foundations ultimately, God's Word or man's word. Throughout Scripture we are told over and over again there is no neutral position. One is either: for Christ or against, gathers or scatters, walks in light or darkness, builds a house (worldview) on the sand or rock, is on the narrow way or the broad way. There is no neutral position. Everyone has a bias. It's not a matter of whether one is biased or not but which bias is the best biased to be biased with!
"Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters (Matthew 12:30).
Today I learned that Leonardo DiCaprio dating a 19-year-old adult woman is the height of moral evil, mostly from the same people who believe a 4-year-old can consent to gender change.
