There’s something so awesome about watching GMac and DeSean walk around the crowd after winning today.
Two Tennessee kids that got to live out their dream and beat Bama’s ass.

Think about it, this kid grew up in Franklin. Die hard Vols fan his entire life. Always dreamed of playing for the Vols. Committed to Tennessee knowing a 5 star QB was there. Stayed at Tennessee after ANOTHER 5 star QB came in. Stayed after losing the QB battle. Never faltered, complained. Just stayed the course. Got his opportunity when it came, and in just his second start won The Third Saturday In October, the biggest game of the season every year for Tennessee. Storybook stuff. And just look at him. Look at that smile. You know that smile is coming from somewhere deep down. That’s not a normal “victory” smile. Congrats, George. This is your moment. You deserve it. GBO 🧡🍊
Man, I can’t complement my experience in Knoxville enough. This place really is as special as everyone says. Nearly every Tennessee fan I interacted with was extremely kind, accommodating, and respectful.
The atmosphere was incredible. It was loud. The fans actually knew ball. What a freaking finish and what an absolute pleasure it was to experience a game like that in an environment like that. Thank you, Knoxville 🤘
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (Nov. 9, 1991) —
Tennessee overcame a 31-7 deficit to beat No. 5 Notre Dame, 35-34 on this day 34 years ago.
Jeremy Lincoln partially blocked the go-ahead field goal as time expired.
One thing I have noticed this year is that Neyland is not Neyland like it has been when it comes to sustained energy. Sure, it got loud a few times, but it's "off". Something is missing.
I think the 3 minute TV timeouts, the faked injuries, all of the damn constant replays, etc. Have just made it impossible to keep fans engaged enough to keep sustained madness.
Against Georgia, I blamed our lack of getting off the field as another issue. Yesterday wasn't that, but the stadium just seemed dead at times.
It was still an awesome experience, but something has changed. I dunno why.
Saturday night in Neyland is the best road game atmosphere I’ve ever experienced.
Absolutely unbelievable from start to finish. Tennessee fans were awesome, too. Huge fan of Knoxville.
