@robotmaths @TLMaths@1stclassmaths and all maths teachers especially OCR foundation - Does anyone have any top tips to improve the Grade 1 and 2 maths students from past experience? Any quick wins?
@Whitehughes I had a poster of EM in my classroom. Bought in the early days of Tesla, it sat on my class wall . My unease over it has grown in the last year or so . It is now down and it is out.
@Whitehughes @TLMaths @robotmaths I am looking at a mock GCSE spreadsheet of an assessment, by an exam board, where the marks for certain questions are populated with a ‘.’ . Does a full stop in the marks cell suggest an unanswered question? Any examiners among you ?
@MathsNot From the two tables, if I infer that 0.1 percent of the 34899 entries in 2023 secured a Grade 9, would I be right or am I reading something wrongly?

Does as one have a SOW with a detailed teaching plan for A level single maths for the OCR A specification that you can share? Thanks in advance.
@TLMaths TL maths , you are my saviour. I am going to miss some lessons and I am setting your videos as learning resource for my students . They are amazing! Thank you.
@Whitehughes @adrianagonvel Totally agree with Adriana. You, @robotmaths @TLMaths and others are a great help. I have been a huge beneficiary of maths twitter’s wisdom and generosity.
@mathstwitter @Whitehughes @robotmaths @TLMaths Looking at grade boundaries for predicted grades for y12 Further maths mocks, I find the AS FM papers significantly less complex. Any experiences of grade boundary decision making will be very helpful.
@mathstwitter @Whitehughes @robotmaths @TLMaths Anybody used the Mock set 2 released by Pearson for their Y12 mocks? If so are you able to share your grade boundaries for the predicted grades? You can DM me if you don’t want to put it out there. We are considering the 2019 GB
