@oddpom I honestly think Pomni probably needed reassurance herself this time around. I get that Jax might've needed it but she was going through the same situation.
@Kakashi_SA99@LeftMyHeartOnD Given the stuff we've learned about other supes / teams it seems that The Seven, being Vought's flagship team, was meant to appeal to all-ages. Deep might've been one of the kid-safer ones given his environmentalism and goofy title, and thus was brought in to round out the team
@CypressDahlia This is part of why I'm generally pretty okay with many so-called "contrived" weaknesses in fiction. Living beings have weirdly specific needs and processes. We're an accumulative random mess that works, not a perfectly efficient patent
@Temylii IMO Homelander has this simultaneous desire to be both all-powerful and treated like normal. He wants people to fear him but why are they all so afraid of him? It hurts his feelings, why don't they consider that? Oh they do? Why don't they tell him how they really feel, though?
@blakesbian I was reading in Spanish where most adjectives are gendered and I STILL didn't get that he was a man until around like volume 13 I was in denial idk
@passiongreent3a Love this AU. Have way too many thoughts about it. I'd imagine air nomads in general would be a bit multilingual. Did Aang have water tribe friends? We know about Bumi and Kuzon. I wonder if when he went to Ba Sing Se he'd be considered to speak a very Omashu-sounding dialect
