For those of you still at SFN today, my student Natalie Smolin is presenting her work uncovering mechanisms that establish visual neuron identity in the fly. We will be in N426 at 1:45pm. This has been an exciting new direction for the lab in collaboration with Mark Dombrovski and Yerbol Kurmangaliyev’s lab at Brandeis.
