One of my best friends that I've known for 8 years developed long COVID after his third COVID infection in late 2023. Like me, he continues to work a full time tech job, but struggles outside of work. I think one of the more underappreciated aspects of it is the loneliness. "I can’t relate to people who aren’t afraid of COVID or do whatever they want or eat whatever they want. Which is almost everyone," he told me.
