Once I started chatting again the viewer count went up to 2, now people may not think this is much of an issue.
But people lurking/ watching and not chatting on a stream can literally be the backbone of a channels growth.
Please spread this to get @Twitch to stop being so shit.

So i'm pretty sure that twitch isn't counting lurkers properly anymore.
When watching a friend of mine streaming, he had 2 viewers one was himself and the other was me, the viewer count dropped to 1 when I stopped chatting but was still watching, he didn't close the stream.
