🇬🇱🇩🇰🇺🇸 It is genuinely absurd. A few years ago we lived in a boring, rules based world where the biggest transatlantic drama was trade disputes and awkward summits. Now we are at a point where Denmark’s prime minister has to say out loud, like a kindergarten teacher in a playground dispute, “No, the United States cannot annex Greenland.”

That sentence should not exist in 2026. Not in public. Not between allies. Not in a world that is supposed to be anchored by NATO and international law.

It shows how far reality has slid and the scariest part is how fast people get used to it. Every week there is a new “unthinkable” headline, and we are expected to shrug and scroll.

This is not just weird. It is a sign the guardrails are coming off.
