.@Vote16CC is now within *12 votes* of lowering the voting age in Culver City CA!
They have been gaining votes with every new report.
This would be by far the largest US city to lower the voting age and the 1st outside of Maryland.
Dropped my vote by mail ballot Monday to a polling location. The day before the election. Just got this, so I assume my vote was just tallied. That’s one more for Puza, Fisch and @Vote16CC !!
It's election day which means to day is the last day to vote for democracy and the youth voice by voting YES on Measure VY!
Polling centers close at 8pm today. Please visit https://t.co/3o4MmJcqRU to find a polling center near you. See you at the polls!
If it passes, it would make Culver City one of few U.S. communities to allow people as young as 16 to vote. No other municipality in the country has the issue on its ballot this year.

First front page & above the fold in @latimes and now this international radio interview @cbcradio. PR begets more PR. If anyone doubts their cognitive capabilities after listening to this, listen again. What will our thoughtful youth do next? Can't wait to find out @Vote16CC
The local measure goes before voters in Tuesday’s election.

Only one municipality in the US has the question of whether to let 16- & 17-year-olds vote on Tuesday's ballot. @WallySkalij📸 and I spent time with the teen activists pushing for Culver City to be the latest of a handful of cities to allow the practice.

Culver City will vote tomorrow whether to allow 16- and 17-year-olds to vote in local elections. Great stuff from @ConnorASheets talking with teenage activists on the campaign trail: https://t.co/wZOjgTx6ix
@latimes This is a fantastic measure on the Culver City ballot. Expanding access for 16 year olds in local elections is a fantastic way to encourage young adult participation in a political process that has a direct impact on their experience while still in high school.
So impressed with @Vote16CC and the positive political campaign they are running. Not to mention scoring a front page article in the @latimes via @ConnorASheets. Our future is in great hands with these young people leading the way. #vote16 https://t.co/db5lDTpeUu
