The power of Hope is a spark that can change lives. Help us bridge from what is, to what can be. I love serving this community and in Congress, I’ll be a catalyst for change. #VoteKarin
Tonight at 6:30 I'll be sharing my vision for public safety at the Reinventing Public Safety Forum. You can stream it on the Voices of Englewood page. https://t.co/top5Uwv30Q
After the death of Dr. Betty Howard by random gun violence, Karin stood up and created the Chatham Workforce and Education Center to honor her name, and help create real opportunities and jobs to break the cycle of violence and poverty. See Dr. Howard’s niece tell the story.
The 1st District has been my home for over 2 decades - and running to represent this community is a lifelong dream fulfilled. Listen to my vision for the District and for our future on It Is What It Is with @Codys_life1!

There are a lot of people running for office talking about economic development and creating effective career pathways. That's not just lip service from Karin. That's all she's been doing. Karin has created more than 100,000 jobs and opened 19 workforce centers.
Karin knows what’s at stake, what matters, and what’s possible. Whether it's reducing crime, providing job or educational tools, Karin is going to continue to do the work she’s already been doing and fight for us.
🚨NewDem Endorsement Alert🚨
We are proud to endorse @votekarin for Illinois 1st District!
“In Congress, Karin will be a strong voice for strengthening the middle class and ensuring every American can climb the economic ladder” - NDAF Chair Brad Schneider
Thank you @chicagotribune for your endorsement!
"Her skill set is best suited for what the district needs most — jobs, economic opportunity and someone focused on local challenges as much as on the national agenda. She wins our endorsement." https://t.co/ietKsptxPc
This #WorldOceansDay let's do our part to protect and preserve our oceans from pollution. Damage to our oceans impacts everyone, everywhere. Our lakes, beaches, and drinking water are all impacted. It's time to take action 🌊 #SouthSideHasBeachesToo
Thank you, Mayor, for your support! “Karin has delivered jobs, created opportunities, and implemented world-class services for Chicagoland’s youth and working families... I know she will continue fighting on behalf of all of us and help our community to grow and thrive.”

It doesn't matter if it's an enrichment program, internship, or a regular summer job, this summer our kids need access to opportunities that keep them off the street and get them ready for success in the future.

I'm running for Congress so that every child in #IL01 (including mine) has the opportunity to succeed. Now that school's out in some of our communities, it's time to rethink how we approach our kids' education.
Trauma from violence lasts years and generations after a violent act occurs. Today I listened to people and their families share how violence has impacted the ones they love as we participated in the Orange Day of Peace Party in honor of Hadiya Pendleton.
A huge congrats to Calumet Middle School's graduating students. Education is the most powerful tool at your disposal. I know you'll use it to do amazing things!
I know that the best way to combat crime in our communities is to create economic opportunity and to help people find good-paying jobs to break the cycle of poverty. This has been the work of my life."

Happy Pride Month! With the conservative Supreme Court coming for our rights, I promise to always be a steadfast champion for LGBTQ+ rights in Congress.
