Lunch at Courtyard Healthcare Center 1/21/26. One would assume if there was bread in the plate butter would be nearby. @EnsignServices

For lunch on 1/20/26 the residents received the worst jambalaya I've ever had. Any cook knows not to use chicken breast when braising. We've had good versions here before. And the zucchini was murdered and unseasoned. This gives institutional food a bad name. @EnsignServices

Hey @EnsignServices, last night at Courtyard Healthcare Center residents didn't receive the menu items nor were we notified... Again. When this happens residents aren't given the choice to order off the alternative menu.

Breakfast was 45 minutes late with dirty utensils, cold plate and cold food. The issue of untoasted toast has been brought up many times in meetings.

My nursing home has a COVID outbreak. Out of 42 people on my hall only 3 of us are negative. Some were vaccinated and some not. Some are knocked out and others asymptomatic. This is on the heals of a norovirus outbreak.

For anyone who thinks COVID is over, think again. I learned the skilled nursing facility I'm in is having an outbreak. This is on the heals of the norovirus outbreak (I avoided it). Several Bay area counties have had mask mandates for months. Glad I've been vaccinated.. again.
