Every once in a while when our team would get stuck, I'd get to the park early and put a lineup card in each of the coaches chairs.
Eight coaches. Because they think making a lineup is probably easy.
And I would just say, hey guys, I'm stuck. I need everybody making a lineup. Just bring it back and put it in my office.
I always appreciated how a fresh lens or a different view throws something at you, and you go, oh my God. I never thought of that.
And then when the lineup card would come out, sometimes the coach would come up and nudge me.
If it worked, I'd tell the media. If it didn't work, I'd wear it.
That's how we did it.
The fun part was that every once in a while when we lost a few in a row and I'd come to my office to find eight lineup cards already made up!
Let's pump the brakes here, guys!!

Cam Schlittler on the MVP chants at Yankee Stadium:
"We've already got an MVP in this locker room (Aaron Judge), he's won three of them. It's a good feeling, I wouldn't say I am an MVP but it's good to embrace that from the fans"
Women will post this captioned “me and who???” and then go on the Tea app to ruin a guy’s life for being a little too pushy at a bar. They are a fundamentally unserious species and our customs should reflect this
That Austin Wells PA was so symbolic of the way the Yankees organization is run. No discipline and low-level IQ for how to approach an AB with bases loaded, two outs, against a pitcher who just lost a battle to your guy. I’m a woman in my 30’s and I know this. You’re not swinging for the fences on first pitch.
