Iconic customization works with icon packs designed to be cohesive. Very few icons are actually going to look better with a blanket tint added.

@justinmfarrugia I think this is very true, but I also do welcome the recent trend of a return to more detail and visual complexity. Flat white boxes were the result of utilitarians swinging the pendulum too far
