ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారి ప్రత్యేక చొరవతో పిఠాపురం పట్టణ అభివృద్ధి కొత్త దిశగా పయనిస్తోంది. పట్టణ ముఖచిత్రాన్ని సమూలంగా మార్చే లక్ష్యంతో భూగర్భ మురుగు నీటి వ్యవస్థ, పారిశుద్ధ్య సదుపాయాలు, మురుగు నీటి శుద్ధి కేంద్రాలు, రహదారులు, కాలువలు, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి కేంద్రం, పార్కుల అభివృద్ధి, తాగునీటి సరఫరా వంటి కీలక మౌలిక వసతుల కోసం మొత్తం రూ.308.24 కోట్ల విలువైన అభివృద్ధి పనులు వివిధ దశల్లో కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. ఈ భారీ నిధులు, సమగ్ర ప్రణాళికలతో పిఠాపురాన్ని ఆధునిక సదుపాయాలతో కూడిన ఆదర్శ పట్టణంగా తీర్చిదిద్దే దిశగా అభివృద్ధి పనులు వేగంగా ముందుకు సాగుతున్నాయి.
*మురుగు నీటి సమస్యకు శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం*
పిఠాపురం ప్రజల చిరకాల కోరిక అయిన అండర్‌గ్రౌండ్ డ్రైనేజీ ఏర్పాటుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యతనిచ్చింది. డిప్యూటీ సీఎం శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారి ప్రత్యేక చొరవతో ఈ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ప్రాజెక్టు కోసం ప్రభుత్వం రూ.200 కోట్ల నిధులను మంజూరు చేసింది. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా పిఠాపురం మున్సిపాలిటీ పరిధిలో సుమారు 120 కిలోమీటర్ల మేర భూగర్భ మురుగునీటి పైప్‌లైన్లను నిర్మించనున్నారు. అలాగే, పట్టణంలోని ప్రధాన చెరుకుల కాలువకు ఇరువైపులా అండర్‌గ్రౌండ్ డ్రైనేజీ లైన్లను ఏర్పాటు చేసేలా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేశారు. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే, పిఠాపురం పట్టణంలో దశాబ్దాలుగా కొనసాగుతున్న మురుగు నీటి సమస్యకు శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం లభించనుంది. దోమల నివారణకు తోడ్పడటంతోపాటు పట్టణ పరిశుభ్రత మెరుగుపడి, ప్రజారోగ్య పరిరక్షణలోనూ గణనీయమైన మార్పు చోటు చేసుకోనుంది. పిఠాపురం ప్రజల సంక్షేమాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని ఈ ఈ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక అండర్‌గ్రౌండ్ డ్రైనేజీ ప్రాజెక్టుకు రూ.200 కోట్ల నిధులను కేటాయించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు గారికి, సహకరించిన పురపాలక, పట్టణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ పొంగూరు నారాయణ గారికి శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు ప్రత్యేకంగా కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.
*రోజుకు రెండు పూటలా సురక్షితమైన తాగు నీరు*
పిఠాపురం పట్టణంలో తాగు నీటి సమస్యను శాశ్వతంగా పరిష్కరించేందుకు రూ. 59.52 కోట్ల భారీ బడ్జెట్‌తో పనులను వేగవంతంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. అమృత్ 2.0లో భాగంగా రూ. 57.37 కోట్లు, టిడ్కో గృహ నిర్మాణ పథకం ఇళ్లకు నీటి సరఫరా కోసం రూ. 2.15 కోట్లను కేటాయించారు. పట్టణానికి మొత్తం 120.19 కి.మీ. పైప్‌లైన్ అవసరం కాగా, ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న 72.90 కి.మీ. లైన్‌లో 35 కి.మీ. దెబ్బతిన్నట్లు గుర్తించారు. దీని కోసం కొత్తగా, అదనంగా 82.29 కిలోమీటర్ల మేర పైప్‌లైన్ పనులను ప్రతిపాదించారు. పట్టణంలో 600 కిలోలీటర్ల సామర్థ్యం గల భారీ ఎత్తైన నీటి నిల్వ ట్యాంకు నిర్మాణ పనులు ముమ్మరంగా సాగుతున్నాయి. మరో 400 కిలోలీటర్ల సామర్థ్యం గల నీటి నిల్వ ట్యాంకు నిర్మాణం త్వరలోనే ప్రారంభం కానుంది. పట్టణ ప్రజల కోసం కొత్తగా దాదాపు 5 వేల తాగునీటి కొళాయి కనెక్షన్లు ఇవ్వనున్నారు. పిఠాపురం పట్టణానికి రోజువారీ నీటి కొరత లేకుండా ఏలేశ్వరం జలాశయం నుంచి రోజుకు 55 లక్షల లీటర్ల నీటిని తరలించేందుకు ఒక ప్రధాన పైప్‌లైన్ ఏర్పాటు జరుగుతోంది. పిఠాపురం పట్టణ ప్రజల రోజువారీ నీటి అవసరమైన 80 లక్షల లీటర్లను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని, రోజుకు రెండు పూటలా సురక్షితమైన తాగునీటిని అందించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ఈ పనులు వేగంగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.

శాస్త్రీయంగా వ్యర్థాల నిర్వహణకు ఏర్పాట్లు*
పిఠాపురం పురపాలక సంఘం పరిధిలో పట్టణ పరిశుభ్రత, వ్యర్థాల శాస్త్రీయ నిర్వహణ కోసం స్వచ్ఛ భారత్ మిషన్ రెండో దశ కింద పనులు ముమ్మరంగా సాగుతున్నాయి. ఇందులో భాగంగా రూ. 4 కోట్లతో తడి చెత్త నిర్వహణ కేంద్రం, రూ.1.43 కోట్లతో మల వ్యర్థాల శుద్ధి కేంద్రం ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నారు. తడి చెత్త నిర్వహణ కేంద్రం పనులు మరో రెండు నెలల్లో పూర్తికానున్నాయి. పట్టణంలోని 18,468 ఇళ్ల నుంచి ప్రతిరోజూ 25 టన్నుల చెత్తను సేకరిస్తున్నారు. తడి చెత్త నిర్వహణ కేంద్రం పనులు వేగవంతం అవుతున్నాయి. ఇది అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే రోజుకు వచ్చే 25 టన్నుల చెత్తను పూర్తిస్థాయిలో శాస్త్రీయంగా నిర్వహించే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది. అలాగే పట్టణంలో గతంలో పేరుకుపోయిన భారీ మొత్తంలో ఘన వ్యర్థాలను కూడా గణనీయంగా తగ్గిస్తున్నారు. ఈ పనులు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే చెత్త సమస్య తగ్గడంతోపాటు పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ, ప్రజారోగ్య పరిస్థితులు మెరుగుపడనున్నాయి.

Censoring Films Actually is an INSULT to the AUDIENCES
In an era of smartphones, global streaming, and access to infinite information, to pretend that a government appointed committee (What is the qualification of its members ?) can shield adults from the film makers perspective of any truth is not only outdated, but it’s also idiotic
Here’s the fundamental hypocrisy… If an adult is mature enough to vote for the leader of the country , raise families, run businesses, why the hell can’t they decide for themselves what to watch?
On one hand , the government trusts the adults with the ballot, which shapes the future of more than a billion people and at the same time thinks a scene in a film might spoil them
That’s not safeguarding society but infantilizing it… An 18 year old can choose the leader , but needs some random committee member to decide if hearing a cuss word or watching a shot is corruptive
A movie is dramatic storytelling from the perspective of a film maker and it’s the viewers prerogative to agree or disagree
Cutting a scene for theatrical release is laughable because the uncut version will hits torrents, Telegram, and all international platforms within hours.
Case in point is the head banging scene in OBSESSION which after the censors cut it , must have been seen by 10 times more people on Insta reels than who actually watched the film in the theatres
Censorship doesn’t hide content .. it actually creates more demand an in the times of AI tools and borderless internet, gatekeeping is a joke

Forcing trims on language, sensuality, violence, or ideology turns cinema into a dishonest and hypocritical slop.
When everyone including children can binge watch brutal news and unlimited online extremes, how come only cinematic moments trigger bans.

Censorship isn’t about protecting values because cinema’s s job is also to reflect one’s perception of an issue , which is what creates debate , the foundation of democracy
Censor ship primarily assumes that adults are children who need to be parented by some government appointed committees (God knows what their qualification are to decide what millions should watch or not ?)

It’s not cuts what we need, but it’s to be clear what the film contains , and then have respect for the audience to decide for themselves to watch or not

I think all producers and directors should stop crawling on their knees before a non thinking, uncreative agenda oriented bureaucracy that understands neither art nor audiences while they give arbitrary cuts
Every time the industry accepts cuts, negotiates “compromise,” or do self censoring to avoid trouble, they embolden those so called gatekeepers and weaken the entire ecosystem by making the entire industry a soft target.

I think it’s time for the industry to come together to challenge the very existence of the censor board in its present form both in courts and public discourses.

Please avoid generalizing "every non-IT guy"

These software engineers posting their salaries on social media platforms and normalized 20-30-40-50-100 lakhs salaries

But outside IT, even 50k is considered as very good salary
