sometimes someone can care about you and still be incapable of giving you the love you need because they’re too consumed by their own pain, insecurity, or belief that they aren’t enough. you can support them, encourage them, and love them deeply, but you cannot do their inner work for them. they have to find their own way back to themselves. and sometimes that means you have to leave. if you do, don’t rewrite the story into “i wasn’t good enough.” the truth may simply be that they weren’t ready to love you in the way you needed.
Can’t believe I have to heal myself from wounds I didn’t even give myself. I’m learning to unlearn fears I never asked for, rebuild trust that someone else broke, and comfort parts of me that only became guarded because they had to. It’s unfair sometimes, carrying the consequences of things I never caused. But I refuse to let someone else’s damage become the story of who I am forever. I deserve to heal, even from what wasn’t my fault.
There will always be things about myself I can’t explain to anyone, and there are parts of me I don’t even understand yet. Some feelings have no clear reason, some memories leave marks I’m still learning to recognize, and some sides of me only make sense with time. I’m slowly realizing that I don’t have to have an explanation for everything I feel. I’m allowed to be a work in progress, to discover myself at my own pace, and to leave some questions unanswered until I’m ready to understand them.
Please don’t expect me to always be kind and loving. There will be times when I’m distant, cold, quiet, thoughtless, or difficult to understand. There will be days when I don’t know how to communicate what I’m feeling, when I need space instead of conversation, and when even I don’t understand myself. It doesn’t mean I’ve stopped caring. I’m human, and I have moments when I’m overwhelmed, tired, or hurting. I just hope the people who love me can remember that there is still a soft heart underneath the parts of me they don’t always know how to reach.
Nobody can ever gaslight me into thinking i’m a bad person. i have my ways & i have my days, but i’m solid & my love is real & genuine every step of the way
I don’t know what lies ahead, and maybe I’m finally learning to rest in Your peace through it. I don’t know who will stay, what will change, or where You are leading me in this season of life. There are things I once thought I needed answers to questions I spent so much time wrestling with and now I am learning to trust You with the unknown.
Not everything has to make sense right now for Your goodness to be present. Some things simply unfold according to Your perfect timing.
So I’m going to keep walking by faith, keeping my heart open to Your grace, and letting go of the need to force control over things that belong in Your hands.
Whatever You have prepared for me will find me, and whatever isn’t meant for me, I won’t spend my life chasing. I don’t need to see the entire path ahead anymore; I just want to walk so closely with You that I don’t miss the blessings along the way.
Some women don't flirt with people. They flirt with life. Extra twenty minutes at the café. Fresh flowers for no reason. Music while getting dressed. Taking the scenic way because the sky looks good. There's romance happening between her and being alive.
I think people underestimate how tired you can be from just having too much on your mind! Not even physically tired! Just tired of remembering things, handling things, thinking ahead, fixing stuff, making decisions, being needed, tryna stay afloat etc. That's just a lot for real.
