Trade XYZ will destroy Hyperliquid?

I think this could actually happen in the near future.

@tradexyz has been beating them in 24-hour volume for 5 days in a row now.

And if you ask me, this is a real problem.

Yes, XYZ shares half of its fees with Hyperliquid, but let's look at the math:

@unitxyz revenue: $12M

@tradexyz revenue: $24M

That's $36M in total.

Unit is the largest and most important bridge in the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

Without it, deposits in $BTC and similar assets won't be coming to Hyperliquid.

XYZ, on the other hand, is actively bringing new users to the stock market and doing a great job pricing project launches in the Pre-IPO stage.

Hyperliquid is just a nice addition to that.

HIP-4 is not user-friendly for retail (unfortunately, that's just a fact).

Nothing is known about new seasons.

HIP-3 projects are shutting down, killing off any competition.

Could Hyperliquid end up becoming just infrastructure rather than the main platform?

Just think about the fact that the main tech stack is in the hands of other people, and it has way higher revenue potential.

With the right compliance/legal setup, the RWA market and especially the RWA stock market (Pre-IPO) could blow up way bigger than HIP-4 (prediction markets) and HIP-5 (options) combined.

Don’t get me wrong, I really love Hyperliquid, but so far, the "house of all finance" thesis isn't playing out the way it was supposed to.

It turns out that the subsidiary project has absorbed all the exponential growth, captured the sector, and has no intention of going anywhere.

I don't want HIP-5.

I don't want a new season.

I want Jeff.

And a lot of answers.
