Demanding accountability after paper leaks and questioning burdensome security measures are not contradictory positions. Students can support stronger exam integrity while also asking whether the chosen measures are evidence-based, student-friendly, and uniformly enforced. The real issue is not whether security exists, but whether it is effective without creating unnecessary hardship for honest candidates.

What is equally concerning is the tone of this response. Telling students and critics that they “cannot have it both ways” dismisses legitimate concerns rather than engaging with them. Citizens, students, and parents have every right to question both failures and proposed solutions.

A representative of the government should respond with empathy, transparency, and a willingness to address concerns, not with language that appears dismissive of those affected. Accountability includes listening to criticism, even when it is inconvenient.

#BreakingNews: The Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner and Charge d'Affaires Pawan Badhe in Dhaka.

According to media reports, the "diplomatic action was taken in response to an incident at the Delhi airport where the Prime Minister's Policy and Strategy Affairs Adviser, Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman, was stopped and held by immigration officials".

The Ministry "formally conveyed Dhaka’s displeasure and concern over the occurrence to the Indian diplomat".

Here is my question - why did Bangladesh PM's advisor, who is known for his notoriously anti-India activities, visit India with a civilian passport instead of a diplomatic passport?
