@J_football_xxx Asia is such a diverse continent. Qatar and Jordan are Arabs. Uzbekistan - Central Asia (neighbour Kazakhstan is UEFA!). Australia is simply in that federation. Real Asia is Indian subcontinent, China, Indo-China, Orient. The only true Asian teams here are South Korea and Japan.

@Bvelzito CONCACAF should also lose slots. It's made up of nations which are not even full countries and not visible from map also but gets 6 slots, same as Asia, the biggest continent in the world.

@futnostalgico Rigged World Cup. Argentina suspiciously had their "semi-final" time moved ahead of Brazil and beat Peru by 6-0 to get exact goal difference required to reach the final. The crowd and intimidation tactics in the final were disgraceful. Holland should have walked off the pitch.

Who ever wins this World Cup will have big asterisk on their title.
48-team competition means easing into competition before facing quality opposition in knockouts.
Hydration breaks which completely break momentum.
VAR is making the game about fine margins and luck.

@NateSilver538 64 teams is absurd. All sports like field hockey, cricket etc have actually trimmed teams who enter its apex competition. Better is to make qualifying a competition similar to UEFA Nations League. World Cup should be 32 teams.

@Mouuha_ @FPLOlympian On skill basis they should but with extra Round of 32 we can't rule out penalty shootout exit but on the whole, I think Portugal make it to R16. The manager Martinez is not very good and that's holding them back.
