Today, some of the books that shaped my life—and the lives of so many others—are being challenged by people who disagree with certain ideas or perspectives. And librarians are on the front lines, fighting every day to make the widest possible range of viewpoints, opinions, and ideas available to everyone.
I believe so much in our organization & team here at the University of Arizona Libraries, that I’m happy to make this my first “real” tweet out. Come join us in beautiful Tucson, AZ. We are surrounded by mountain ranges and are just 60-ish miles from the US-Mexico Border.
Let it snow, let it snow. ❄️
Now through Dec. 22, Main and Weaver Libraries are open. We’ll be closed from Dec. 23-Jan. 2.
See you in the new year!
Enjoy the winter break like these two enjoyed the snow in 1971.
