@GooglyGlimmers I don’t think you are correct on Mulan - the new rules say that dmg modifiers are applied prior to dmg being dealt, so Mulan still deals dmg reduced by resist (cause resist is a dmg modifier now) and hence the reduced dmg is base for her ability.

@JaromirTesar Since such a service is not fundamentally needed for governance to operate, I’d say such service should be paid by the requestor, not the Treasury.

Also it’s a service that requires extra time and effort from the DRep, so compensation is appropriate.

@lace_io I recently wanted to load an older wallet which I have stored as a paper wallet (with PGP key), however I can't quite find the option to restore such. Is this option gone since 2.0 or just hidden?
Also, can we have the option do display currency in ADA?

@JaromirTesar So the public key is generally an extra datagram the sender adds to the transaction, so the signature could be verified, right? - Trying to understand “when” the public key is revealed. :)

@JaromirTesar This sounds rather envious, which IMHO is not the right way of thinking. Midnight was build as privacy-first chain; Cardano is built on a bit different narratives. IMHO Cardano should look to capiralize on what makes it different to form a complementary team with Midnight.

@JaromirTesar It could work like an open source funding model where we (Cardano Dreps) would define tasks (imagine something like github Issues) and define a reward for implementing the functionality.

@JaromirTesar How about having a model of funding where you don’t fund concrete asks (demand based), but rather specify a target and pay the “prize” to whomever implements the functionality successfully up to specification (offer based) /1

@JaromirTesar Scalability is indeed a priority for some tasks, namely where performance is required (ex. fintech). However there are also other types of tasks which don’t require performance, but for security - that kind of transactions is not yet on blockchains (RWAs, gov/tax automation …)
