This isn’t a seat problem.
Alberta is governed by a country where larger population blocs can impose laws, policies, and values on us.
When our resources are extracted, our wealth is siphoned away, and our values are ignored, that is not partnership.
That is colonialism.
@TrumpGirlLove It’s funny how that “woman liberal cop” allows protesters to do what they want and harass the media for being attacked by the lawless antifa scum!!!
@themadsloth@DavidsAchinEgo Even though this country has become a complete shithole the scumbag 10 million liberal imported immigrant/refugees getting free taxpayer money with still vote for carney. Either the election seats need to change for more seats in Alberta or Alberta must be able to separate!
The problem is not one bad prime minister.
The problem is a system where Alberta can be outvoted forever by people who do not live here, do not share our values, and do not depend on the industries they regulate.
That is why independence matters.
Alberta independence means no more funding a government we cannot fire.
The people spending Alberta’s money should be elected by Albertans, accountable to Albertans, and removable by Albertans.
Canadians voted for a Liberal minority government, not a recruited majority.
When MPs are pressured with promises and political incentives to change the makeup of Parliament after election day, people have every right to question it.
The strongest argument for Alberta independence is simple: Canada’s structure cannot be fixed.
Alberta has no real leverage, no fair seat at the table, and no path to resolve its grievances within Confederation.
Constitutional lawyer Keith Wilson passionately explains why he believes Alberta should become an independent nation.
Canada is on a "dark" path he says, pointing to crushing debt, mass immigration and censorship legislation as reasons for separation.
