Stream sniping is wrong and against the rules of the game. That should be clear to everyone, and I don’t support it.

But it feels like the punishment for these two players is too harsh. They are not the only ones responsible for what happened they are only one part of the situation.

These two players have given so much to PUBG and its community. It would be a shame to see their stories end this way.

I really hope this situation can be resolved in the best possible way for everyone, that everyone can become friends again, and that this becomes a lesson for players, tournament organizers, and PUBG.

As one global PUBG community, I believe we should all show professionalism and help create a friendly and respectful atmosphere in the game, at events, and across the pro scene.

@tgltnPUBG There is a clip of the Vietnamese players asking PUBG discord admins if stream sniping is allowed before the first match and the response from them was yes, stream sniping is ok. Tbh its a big miscommunation arisen from the stream-sniping showmatches culture here.

@jeemzzpubg @pattrick_36 We have pubg weekly showmatches hosted by Mixigaming in VN which gets 100k-150k concurrent viewers week in week out even encourage stream sniping, its seen as a fun thing. Btw, the players asked admins if they can stream snipe before they OPENLY does it in this one, and got a yes

@jeemzzpubg @pattrick_36 Jeemzz, the context is off here. It is true that its common sense to not stream snipe in official tournaments, and the Vnese players know that. But in Vietnam, and even other APAC countries, stream sniping is common in showmatches and promotional events and it is generalized.
