@valyala >continue polluting the environment with plastic caps
yes, alongside the bottles. Now the next step is to incentivise people to return them in supermarkets similar to glass bottles
@valyala >they continue tracking information about visitors
The goal was to make people aware of the tracking and allow them to make a choice. As a result of this Meta is being sued and most heinous US sites don't even work on EU
@valyala Oh, okay. However I don't see why "all PRs must pass reviews and CI" rule needs to have an exception for "small" fixes. It certainly needs some infra (organizing the team to do reviews, setting up a system to watch for regressions in CI) but at least it doesn't have tradeoffs
@valyala Much easier to collect personal data via the app, as browsers have extensive experience how to keep this bad behavior at bay or at least ask for permissions

@RiRa12621 @SkySummitBerlin Correct, the session organizers would be the hosts and provide some initial discussion topics - and steer it to keep on topic if necessary.
We had a lot of fun with observability and k8s office hours (perhaps "meetup" is a better word after all) on DevConf Minis
@the_sttts BigCorp don't open issues, people do. And the particular person can be inexperienced in this particular tech or not a technical contributor at all but wants to make sure bugs are filed for others to be aware
