Not that many people, if any care, but due to this platform becoming a right wing echo chamber, I have opted to suspend posting on my account here and join Bluesky. You can reach me at https://t.co/gzvNUxnnZn. Hopefully I'll see some of you there.
@AmyMek@AmericanLearni1 Fundamentalists of any religion are a major problem and rarely ever embody the core tenet of that religion. They selectively pick what tenets they will follow and conveniently discard the rest. Coincidentally, the ones they choose to follow are those giving them power and wealth.
@AmyMek@AmericanLearni1 Yeah, and Christianity is supposed to welcome foreigners and take care of them. They're supposed to love their enemies and not be judgmental. They're not supposed to worship idols, and they're supposed to be meek and giving. We saw who the fundamentalist Christians voted for.
@ccsavage21 @9edroPires @Provokethoughtz Yeah, and if you go to Alberta, 80% of the people there would say they would love to live in Trump's USA. Go anywhere else in Canada and see what kind of responses you get. There are areas of every country that are far right and against social welfare.
@keithedwards Because the people, many of whom are below-average intelligence, voted for this idiot, and we're stuck with what they voted for. If I could leave this God forsaken country and go to Canada or the UK, or 75% of the EU countries, I would. Unfortunately, they don't want Americans.
@notcapnamerica FFS. If he's interested in her, he should wait until she's done, introduce himself respectfully and see if she's interested in going out. If he's not, then he should just stay the fuck out of her way and leave her alone. No excuse for acting this way.
@elonmusk Except that the Supreme Court said that the President is immune from any liability for any acts or omissions in his official capacity. That immunity would extend to the Vice President as well. So much for criminal charges, eh?
